Foundation: Galactic Frontier schedules staggered maintenance for September 14, 2026

The developer announcement states scheduled maintenance will take servers offline at staggered times on September 13–14, 2026 to improve stability and service quality. Specific windows vary by server group, and the developer notes the list of changes may be updated on their Discord.

Why the maintenance is happeningThe announcement states the maintenance is intended to ensure server stability and improve service quality. That justification is given as the reason for taking servers offline during the scheduled windows rather than as a list of specific fixes or changes. The developer frames this as routine, planned work to maintain service health.

Server 1001 maintenance windowThe announcement specifies Server 1001 will be offline from September 13, 2026 at 23:30 UTC until September 14, 2026 at 06:00 UTC. The developer presents that single-server window separately from the other groups, indicating Server 1001 has an earlier end time than some other servers in the schedule.

Servers 1002–1016 maintenance windowThe announcement lists Servers 1002 through 1016 as scheduled to be down from September 13, 2026 at 23:30 UTC to September 14, 2026 at 07:00 UTC. The developer groups these servers together and gives them a one-hour later end time than Server 1001, signaling staggered restoration across server groups.

All other servers maintenance windowThe announcement states that all other servers (those not enumerated above) will be taken offline from September 14, 2026 at 02:00 UTC until September 14, 2026 at 07:00 UTC. This places the start for these remaining servers later than the listed numbered servers while sharing the same 07:00 UTC end time as Servers 1002–1016.

Notes on updates and where to check for changesThe announcement directs readers to a Discord channel for a list of what’s new and clarifies that the list is subject to change. The developer did not include further details about specific changes in the announcement itself, instead pointing players to their Discord for the latest information.
